Great Boulder Resources to discuss gold, base metals opportunities at Proactive’s CEO Sessions

Great Boulder managing director Andrew Paterson will present at Proactive’s CEO Sessions in Sydney on February 3 and Melbourne on February 4.

Great Boulder Resources Ltd (ASX:GBR) has a range of projects from greenfields through to advanced exploration in the Eastern Goldfields of Western Australia.

The company is well-positioned for future success with copper-nickel-cobalt projects including Mt Venn and Winchester and the Whiteheads Gold Project.

Great Boulder managing director Andrew Paterson will present at Proactive’s CEO Sessions in Sydney on February 3 and Melbourne on February 4 along with four other companies.

Whiteheads Gold Project

Great Boulder recently confirmed promising results from early-stage exploration undertaken at its Whiteheads Gold Project 60 kilometres north of Kalgoorlie.

At the Lady Betty prospect, five holes were drilled for 641 metres with the aim of extending a high-grade shoot.

Results from this drilling include 1 metre at 7.51 g/t gold from 112 metres. This intersection extends the strike of the high-grade structure about 65 metres to the north.

At the Seven Leaders prospect, results include 16 metres at 1.13g/t gold from 58 metres in hole 19SLRC006, including 2 metres at 2.53g/t gold from 60 metres.

Mt Venn prospect

Last month, Great Boulder identified a large copper anomaly with a peak value of 638ppm copper at the Mt Venn prospect within its Yamarna project.

The anomaly is above two EM conductors and was outlined in a 140-hole auger program on a 200 by 50-metre grid around a historical drill hole.

The prospect requires further drilling and/or ground EM surveys to determine its significance.

Great Boulder’s planned work is expected to begin in March-April 2020 and will be undertaken in conjunction with other work already scheduled at the nearby Winchester and Mt Carlon projects.

Five companies presenting

Five companies will present at the Sydney and Melbourne events, including Antisense Therapeutics Limited (ASX:ANP), Recce Pharmaceuticals Ltd (ASX:RCE) and Cynata Therapeutics Ltd (AS:CTP).

The Sydney session will also include Reward Minerals Ltd (ASX:RWD) while the Melbourne session also includes Alice Queen Ltd (ASX:AQX).
