Verona Pharma PLC (LON:VRP, NASDAQ:VRNA), the respiratory diseases treatment developer, has created a new position: vice-president of Capital Markets Strategy & Investor Relations.
David Moskowitz, who held similar positions at Trovagene and Biocept, has been appointed to the newly created role.
He will oversee the company’s investor relations [IR] activities and will also work with the senior leadership team to further develop Verona Pharma’s public market profile.
“His experience and insights make him ideally suited to support our investor relations programme and goals. He will play an instrumental role in forming and implementing our IR strategy as we plan to start Phase 3 trials with first-in-class product candidate, ensifentrine, in 2020,” said Jan-Anders Karlsson, the chief executive officer of Verona.
