Tesla to deliver second batch of China-made Model 3 sedans next week: media reports

The first batch was delivered to employees at the Chinese factory, while the second one will be given to external customers

Tesla Inc. (NASDAQ:TSLA) is set to deliver the second batch of China-built Model 3 sedans to customers next Tuesday at an event in Shanghai, Reuters has reported.

The first 15 models were given Monday to some of the electric vehicles maker’s employees at the Chinese factory, the first outside the US, which was built in just 10 months and began operations in October.

The customers for Tuesday's deliveries are not Tesla employees, a representative of the company told Reuters.
