DP Poland rises as it appoints manager of Polish subsidiary as new CEO

Iwona Olbrys was previously general manager of DP Polska, and before joining the firm was general director of the Polish arm of competitor Telepizza

DP Poland PLC (LON:DPP) has appointed the general manager of its Polish subsidiary, Iwona Olbrys, as its new chief executive with effect from 1 January.

The company, which owns the right to operate the Domino’s Pizza brand in Poland, said Olbrys has “significant experience” in the Polish food and beverage sector, having previously served as general director of the Polish arm of competitor Telepizza.

DPP also said that its finance director, Maciej Jania, will step down from the board but will continue to act as managing director of the company’s Polish subsidiary, DP Polska. Meanwhile, Rob Morrish, a non-executive director and chartered accountant, will take responsibility at board level for the company's financial reporting obligations.

The shares rose 3.3% to 4.8p in early afternoon trading on Friday.
