Augmented and virtual reality investment fund Sure Ventures PLc (LON:SURE) got a boost from the rising value of entertainment pod group Immotion in its latest six months.
Net asset value at the end of September was 83p, roughly the same as March and helped by a rise in Immotion’s share price to 6.7p from 5.1p at the last year-end, which offset the cost of running the fund.
Sure added the fund has also seen a number of unrealised gains across the portfolio, which is now beginning to mature and approach series A funding rounds.
“If successful, these will begin to provide the NAV growth that was set out to achieve from inception,” said the fund’s manager Shard Capital.
Sure has a direct holding in listed Immotion Group, with its other listed investment an indirect stake in VR Education held through Suir Valley Ventures.
Interim losses were £19,000.
