Outsourcer Serco PLC (LON:SRP) expects the strong growth seen this year to continue into the next twelve months.
"Our positive outlook for 2020 means that we expect to double our underlying trading profit from the £69m achieved in 2017 to the £145m we plan to deliver in 2020,” said chief executive Rupert Soames.
Revenues this year to December will grow 14% while underlying trading profits will improve by 30% to around £120mln helped by a rise in margins to 3.7%.
Second half revenue growth will be close to 20%, of which 10% will be organic and 8% from a five months contribution by the Naval Systems Business Unit (NSBU) acquisition.
North America and Asia Pacific were strong added Serco, while this will be the third year in a row where order intake has exceeded revenues.
