Greatland Gold PLC (LON:GGP) has unveiled what it says are “positive results” from a geochemical survey at its Paterson Range East licence in Western Australia.
The AIM-listed explorer said the survey had delivered a “widespread geochemical response”, including for gold and copper, which it says will enhance the prospectivity of multiple targets at the site.

This included a “significant geochemical response” at the Goliath target and a similar signature at Havieron, while the company has also identified three new targets with “favourable geology and/or geophysical characteristics”.
"We are encouraged by the results of our recent geophysical and geochemical studies which have identified a range of exciting, high-priority targets”, said Greatland chief executive Gervaise Heddle.
“The Goliath target in particular, which displays very similar characteristics to Havieron, has emerged as one of our highest priorities for 2020 as we look to fast track exploration across the Paterson region", he added.
Greatland’s shares were 1% higher at 1.7p in early trading on Tuesday.
