A2M, MIN, NIC shares bounce on mention at Sohn Hearts & Minds Conference

The single day conference is being held in Sydney today and features Ray Dalio and Howard Marks.

A2 Milk Company Ltd (ASX:A2M) got a mention today at the Sohn Hearts & Minds conference from portfolio manager Jun Bei Liu of Tribeca Investment Partners.

The stock popped 10 cents on its mention as Jun’s stock pick for the conference rising to $14.10, up around 2% on the day.

It’s been a strong week for the baby formula producer, which was trading below $12.00 on Monday.

Other benefactors from today’s conference include Mineral Resources Ltd (ASX:MIN) and Nickel Mines Ltd (ASX:NIC).

MIN was Airlie Funds’ Emma Fisher’s pick and NIC was tipped by Regal founder Phil King.

At around 2.00pm, MIN is up 3.3% to $14.38 and NIC is up 7.4% to 58 cents.

King also tipped a short, Polynovo (ASX:PNV), which was sold off savagely on the initial mention before rebounding over the day.
