Alkane Resources Ltd (ASX:ALK) has scheduled a follow-up drill program of five diamond holes at the Boda Prospect within the Northern Molong Porphyry Project in New South Wales.
The 5,000 metres of drilling will test the substantial Boda porphyry gold-copper mineralisation identified in KSDD003 along strike and down dip.
KSDD003 returned a broad intercept of 502 metres at 0.48 g/t gold and 0.20% copper from 211 metres with extensive alteration indicative of the core zone of a substantial mineralised porphyry system.
The Boda target forms part of the Kaiser-Boda intrusive complex mapped over 5x1 kilometres.
The five upcoming holes, marked as yellow stars below, have been planned to test the mineralisation along strike to the north and south.
The drill has been mobilised and is expected to be on-site early next week.
Proactive caught up with Alkane in September 2019 to discuss the discovery at Boda.
