Investor Update: AFC Energy's HydroX-Cell 'performs well' against rival PEM technology

AFC Energy (LON:AFC) says its high-current density alkaline fuel cell, called HydroX-Cell, performed well against rival PEM technology in a single fuel cell operation.  AFC says HydroX-Cells are also capable of using low grade (and low cost) hydrogen streams. 

Integumen’s (LON:SKIN) Labskin subsidiary has signed agreements with two new, and one existing, top 20 global cosmetic company clients for microbiome research and development services.  The agreements are worth six-figures in total. 

Polarean Imaging (LON:POLX) has completed the enrolment of both parts of the Phase III clinical trial for its lung disease diagnostic system. Image and statistical analysis is expected to take ten weeks.

Sainsbury’s profits almost disappeared in its latest half year as the supermarket’s sales slipped by 1% on a like-for-like basis.

Rolls-Royce has warned profits will be at the lower end of guidance after the engineer made more provisions for the troubled Trent 1000. 

Bovis (LON:BVS) has agreed terms for the acquisition of Galliford Try’s Linden Homes and regeneration arm. The price of just over a billion pounds will be met through cash and shares.
