Venus Metals Corporation Ltd - Venus Metals commences survey at copper-nickel prospect
This modern survey is far more high powered than the old surveys conducted

Venus Metals Corporation Ltd (ASX:VMC) has commenced a high-powered fixed‐loop electromagnetic (FLEM) survey at the Vidure Copper‐Nickel Prospect.

This survey has been commissioned to follow up on historical electromagnetic surveys which were conducted with low‐powered systems making them less effective.

Vidure was identified as a nickel-copper-PGE geochemical anomaly and is located on tenement E57/1011 in the Youanmi region of Western Australia.

E57/1011 is 90% owned by Venus and nearby to the Currans Find mining lease.

The area is known to host base metals with a diamond hole from 1973 intersecting 1.22 metres of massive sulphides with 2.2% nickel and 0.14% copper from 135 metres.

A hole in 1985 also intersected 8 metres at 1.47% copper, 0.13% nickel and 5 g/t silver from 120.5 metres.

A number of interests around Youanmi

Venus has an extensive tenement holding in the Youanmi Greenstone belt in Western Australia and holds exploration rights north and south of the recent discovery near the historical Penny West gold mine.

Spectrum Metals Ltd (ASX:SPX) made a high-grade gold discovery just north of the historical mine.

Venus exercised two options to complete the acquisition of the Youanmi Gold Mine forming four separate joint ventures all with Rox Resources Ltd (ASX:RXL).

These are the OYG JV, Venus JV, Youanmi JV and Currans Find JV.
