Saturn Metals chairman transitions to non-executive role in line with pre-IPO planning

Saturn is well funded to continue exploration at its flagship Apollo Hill Gold project, near Leonora in the WA goldfields.

Saturn Metals Ltd (ASX:STN) has confirmed that Robert Tyson will move from executive chairman to non-executive chairman, effective immediately.

Tyson has been executive chairman of Saturn since its inception, having led the spin-out of the company from Peel Mining Ltd (ASX:PEX) and its subsequent listing on the ASX in March 2018.

His transition to a non-executive role is in line with pre-IPO planning, with the process beginning at the start of this financial year.

Apollo Hill shaping up as a significant gold system

Saturn is now well established and well funded to continue exploration at its flagship Apollo Hill Gold project, near Leonora in the Western Australian goldfields.

Tyson said: “It has been very pleasing to see the transformation of Saturn over the last 18 months, particularly the way in which Ian Bamborough and his team have systematically gone about business.

“Saturn is in safe hands and is well placed to advance the Apollo Hill gold project, which is shaping up to be a very significant gold system.

“I look forward to remaining involved and assisting with the company’s continual advancement.”
