Anglo Asian Mining PLC (LON:AAU) has entertained a delegation from the British Embassy in Azerbaijan at its Gedabek gold, copper and silver mine.
Anglo is the largest mining investor in Azerbaijan and the second largest UK investor in Azerbaijan after BP.
Reza Vaziri, chief executive, chief executive, said: "It was a great pleasure to host the British Ambassador and his colleagues at the Gedabek mine site.
“We look forward to continuing our excellent relationship with the British Embassy with a view to further contributing to the ongoing mutual benefit of the association between Britain and Azerbaijan."
