Bezant Resources PLC (LON:BZT) closed out the financial half year to June 2019 with just £69,000 in cash, following a loss before tax of £387,000.
During the period the company made progress on its economic studies for the large Mankayan copper-gold project in the Philippines, and also took out an option on a new copper project in Zambia.
Bezant also gained environmental approvals for exploration work on its Eureka copper project in Argentina.
Following the year end, an environmental impact assessment was completed at Mankayan, and this is likely to become a component part of a planned pre-feasibility study.
