Oncimmune makes three "experienced and seasoned" hires as commercial development of its cancer diagnostic gets into full swing

They are Professor Tariq Sethi, Matthew Luttrell and Cléa Rosenfeld

Oncimmune Holdings PLC (LON:ONC) has made three senior appointments that strengthen the team as commercial development of its cancer diagnostic gets into full swing.

They are Professor Tariq Sethi, Matthew Luttrell and Cléa Rosenfeld.

Clinician and entrepreneur Sethi, who has worked for AstraZeneca, is the new chief scientific officer, while Luttrell joins from Japanese giant Takeda to take on the role of chief commercial officer.

New head of investor relations, Cléa Rosenfeld, headed the IR function for the speciality pharma giant Shire at the time when it navigated its way from the FTSE 250 to become one of the UK’s top 50 largest quoted companies.

Chief executive Adam Hill said: "The appointments of Tariq, Matthew and Cléa add yet more expertise and depth to our leadership teams as we establish Oncimmune as a key player in supporting critical clinical decisions across the cancer care pathway.

“I'm delighted to welcome them and am pleased that Oncimmune's potential attracts such high quality, experienced and seasoned professionals.”

Last week the firm secured an €8.5mln credit facility that will allow it “drive commercial adoption” of its lung cancer diagnostic.

"Last year we laid out our paths to value to accelerate growth and have been executing against this,” Hill said in the earlier announcement.
