MTI Wireless Edge Ltd (LON:MWE) has won a US$1mln contract to supply military antennas to an unnamed European customer over the next 15 months.
The general manager of the group’s antenna division, Dov Feiner, said the radio and communications firm continued to see “strong sales interest” in its portfolio of antenna products.

Feiner added that MTI was continuing to invest in the commercialisation of 5G backhaul solutions, which are expected to drive sales growth as mobile phone operators rolled out their own 5G networks globally.
Backhaul solutions are parts of a telecoms network, such as cell towers, that allow mobile phones to connect to the internet.
In early trading on Monday, MTI’s shares were 2.3% higher at 30.7p.
