BlueRock Diamonds PLC () has sold a 10.6-carat diamond for US$103,000 in the September tender.
The owner and operator of the Kareevlei diamond mine in the Kimberley region of South Africa said it has now sold six diamonds this year at a price higher than US$50,000, realising an aggregate US$600,000 from these sales.
“I am pleased with the recovery and sale of yet another high-value diamond which continues to underpin the increasing potential of the Kareevlei mine,” said Mike Houston, the executive chairman of BlueRock.
“I look forward to updating our shareholders in the Q3 2019 quarterly update.”
