Full interview: City Pub Group shifts focus to developing pub estate and improving dividends

Clive Watson, executive chairman of City Pub Group PLC (LON:CPC), speaks to Proactive London's Andrew Scott after announcing an almost 20% rise in profits for its first half of the year.

The chain, which operates 47 upmarket ‘wet’ (drink-led) pubs across England and Wales, reported an adjusted pre-tax profit of £1.9mln for the six months ended 30 June, 19% higher than the prior year, while revenues jumped 36% to £27.1mln.
