Jersey Oil and Gas PLC (LON:JOG) has confirmed it has landed new acreage from the UK government’s 31st Supplementary Offshore Licensing Round. The North Sea explorer told investors that following the completion of paperwork it has now been formally awarded an area made up of 3 licenses - referred to as Zermatt, Buchan, and Glenn.

Clinigen Group PLC (LON:CLIN) has said its international platform is taking shape to support higher organic growth as profits advanced by a third in the first half. The pharma group said its latest acquisition, CMS, which it paid £193mln for, is performing ahead of expectations.

Renewable power provider SIMEC Atlantis Energy Limited (LON:SAE) said it achieved its best-ever operating results at its MeyGen tidal power project this year. The MeyGen tidal power project in Scotland has now exported more than 21-gigawatt hours (GWh) of electricity to the national grid.

And Kodal Minerals (LON:KOD) says the ESIA application for its lithium project in Mali is progressing well and as expected after a meeting this week with officials.
