Anglo African Oil & Gas bids farewell to executive chairman, David Sefton

The board thanked Sefton for his hard work over many years in building a successful production and development company and wished him well in his other ventures.

David Sefton has resigned as a director and executive chairman of Anglo African Oil & Gas PLC (LON:AAOG).

Sarah Cope, currently a non-executive director of the company, has assumed the role of interim non-executive chairman and the company will commence the search for a new non-executive chairman.

Sefton steered the company through its flotation in 2018 and has overseen a successful drilling campaign on the TLP-103C well at the Tilapia project in the Republic of Congo, for which the company has funding in place for a sidetrack.

Anglo African said Sefton has decided the time is right to step down to focus on his other projects.
