Phunware, Inc. (NASDAQ: PHUN) has been selected by CIO Applications as one of the Top 10 Indoor Positioning Solution Providers for 2019 in its September issue.
The tech magazine said the list was compiled by a team of highly experienced industry experts, chief information officers (CIO), chief technology officers (CTO), along with its editorial team, who assessed firms in the Indoor Positioning Solutions space to short-list the companies.
Phunware’s hardware-agnostic, Multiscreen as a Service (MaaS) platform can take location data from a wide range of device types, networks and sensors, including GPS (Global Positioning Solutions), Wi-Fi access points, physical and virtual Bluetooth (BLE) beacons, accelerometers, compasses and now even cutting-edge smart lighting.
