Tietto Minerals Ltd (ASX:TIE) non-executive chairman Francis Harper has been issued one million shares after participating in the recent $7.6 million two-tranche placement.
Harper paid $150,000 for the placement shares which increases his overall shareholding in the company to 9.8 million shares.
Funding from the placement has already played a major role in recent exploration success at the company’s Abujar Gold Project in Côte d’Ivoire.
Last week, Tietto revealed diamond drill hole ZDD061 had intersected 73 metres at 2.8 0g/t gold from 218 metres at the Abujar-Gludehi deposit.
Drilling is part of the ongoing 30,000-metre program focused on the 1.38 million ounce Abujar‐Gludehi deposit and Tietto aims to expand the JORC resource by the end of the calendar year.
