Rockfire Resources interims show exploration spend at just over £200,000, as work on Queensland portfolio continues

Rockfire Resources has an extensive portfolio in Queensland, but has now withdrawn from Papua New Guinea

Rockfire Resources PLC (LON: ROCK) finished the six months to June 2019 with £181,097 in the bank, after booking a loss of £307,318 during the period.

Exploration spend amounted to £208,738.

The company continues to explore on its gold and base metals tenements in Queensland, Australia.

During the period, Rockfire booked a maiden JORC Resource of 51,000 ounces of gold at the Lighthouse gold project.

It also boosted the average, grade at the Copperhead porphyry copper project to 0.35% copper equivalent and completed the acquisition of the Copper Dome porphyry project.

Progress was also made on Double Event, Native Bee, and Cardigan Dam.

And the company completed its withdrawal from Papua New Guinea.
