Archer Exploration advances commercial strategy for quantum technology vertical

Archer will be attending the Quantum.Tech Global Business Conference & Exhibition in Boston, Massachusetts, USA, from September 10-11.

Archer Exploration Ltd (ASX:AXE) has made strong progress with technology development derisking activities and continues to advance a commercial strategy for its quantum technology vertical.

In line with this strategy, CEO Dr Mohammad Choucair and Quantum Technology manager Dr Martin Fuechsle will attend the Quantum.Tech Global Business Conference and Exhibition in Boston, USA, this month.

The high-level international event, which takes place on September 10 and 11, has a strong focus on the commercial applications of quantum technology and aims to facilitate development of the broader supply chain in the commercialisation of quantum computing technology.

The company will attend the conference to update delegates on its quantum technology, initiate strategic business relationships, identify upcoming opportunities and conduct face-to-face meetings with several key decision-makers in the quantum economy.

“Developing a working chip prototype”

Chief executive officer Mohammad Choucair said: “Archer continues to demonstrate key success factors towards developing a working chip prototype that could potentially offer a solution to direct consumer ownership of quantum computing.

“We look forward to sharing our exciting progress with companies in the quantum computing ecosystem and semiconductor industries.”

Among recent achievements are strengthening the commercial readiness of the CQ-room temperature qubit processor, the ‘most crucial’ hardware component of a quantum computer.

The successful development could potentially overcome both the limitations of low operating temperatures and would represent a breakthrough solution to the widespread use and ownership of quantum computing powered technology.

Archer has access to world-class facilities required to build prototype chips, has successfully begun assembling chip prototypes, and has recently demonstrated the possibility of qubit scalability in the fabrication of a working chip prototype by precisely positioning the critical chip qubit component.
