Itaconix promotes finance and operations director to CFO role

Laura Denner joined Itaconix as its financial controller six years ago, and she has now been promoted to the top finance job in the company

Polymer maker Itaconix PLC (LON:ITX) has promoted its finance and operations director to the role of chief financial officer.

Laura Denner, who first joined Itaconix in 2013 as its financial controller, will take over from the departing Michael Norris on 1 September.

The AIM company said Denner, a certified public accountant, had taken on greater financial and operational responsibilities since her arrival.

“I greatly appreciated Michael's strong support as we worked together to restructure operations and move Itaconix into its new commercial phase,” said chief executive John Shaw.

“Laura worked closely with Michael over the last year and had lead responsibilities on major portions of this process. Her experience and leadership in developing our operations and finances have positioned us for on-going commercial success.”
