The Vodafone Group PLC (LON:VOD) logo will feature prominently on Porsche’s first ever Formula E car when the new season gets underway in November.
The pair have agreed a deal which will see Vodafone become the Porsche Formula E team’s official communication partner for the next five years.

As well as featuring on the car, Vodafone’s famous ‘speech mark’ logo will also be visible on the drivers’ uniforms.
As part of the tie-up, the FTSE 100 telecoms giant will provide the racing team with communications equipment and technical support.
“There's a natural alignment for Vodafone with Formula E, a next generation, technology driven sport that appeals to a broad and ever-growing audience and that has concern for the planet at its heart,” said Vodafone’s chief commercial officer Ahmed Essam.
“We have a very positive working relationship with Porsche and together we'll look to break boundaries in vehicle technology.”
Plenty of history
It is not the first time Porsche and Vodafone have collaborated.
Porsche was Vodafone’s first connected car customer and they have worked together to develop features such as locking and unlocking a car via mobile phone.
Vodafone has also sponsored Porsche’s Le Mans team for the past six years, which yielded three victories as well as three titles in the World Endurance Championships.
