Chaarat Gold moves to main exploration target as grades at Tulkubash impress

The most prospective target (to the north-east of the current strike) is still to be explored.

Ongoing drilling at Chaarat Gold Holdings Ltd's (LON:CGH) Tulkubash project in the Kyrgyz Republic has continued to hit good grades at or just below the surface.

The latest holes saw grades between 2.55 – 0.82 g/t gold at widths of 10.5m to 28.5m.

Chaarat has now drilled 12,000m out of a 20,000m programme though the most prospective target (to the north-east of the current strike) is still to be explored.

Samples taken from this section along strike contained grades of more 1g/t, which in line with the main pit at Tulkubash.

“One sample, 2 metres of 19.67 g/t Au within 8 metres of 5.12 g/t Au is in a different host rock and may define a new target area,” added Chaarat.

Drilling is just starting in this section and Chaarat believes it might be one of a number of gold deposits contained within the Tulkubash licence.

Dusty Nicol, Chaarat’s Senior Vice President Exploration, said: “The resource identified to date lies within only 4 kms of the company's 24 km long exploration licence."
