Investor Update: Premier Oil farms into 88 Energy's conventional acreage in Alaska

Premier Oil (LON:PMO) has emerged as the farm-in partner for 88 Energy’s (LON:88E) conventional acreage in Alaska.  Premier has signed a sale and leaseback agreement for 60% of Area A on the North Slope Basin. 

Elsewhere, Premier’s also announced it’s putting its stake in the huge Zama field offshore Mexico up for sale and will look for a farm-in partner for Sea Lion, its Falkland Island play. 

Falcon Oil & Gas (LON:FOG) has received approval to drill and frack a new horizontal appraisal well in Australia’s Northern Territory. Partner Origin Energy will drill the well.

Symphony Environmental (LON:SYM) and its Mexican partner have unveiled the first packaging using its d2W biodegradable technology. 

Stobart (LON:STOB) has signed a partnership with Wizz Air that will see three new routes to Eastern Europe fly from Southend Airport. Wizz Air will operate 14 weekly flights from the airport. 

GlaxoSmithKline and partners Pfizer and Shionogi have announced another  major breakthrough in the treatment of HIV.  The ATlas-2M phase III trial showed it is possible to supress the HIV virus just with an injection of two drugs every two months.

Gaming and bingo firm Rank Group (LON:RNK) saw an upturn in its fortunes in the second half of its financial year. Operating profit in the second six months rose 20%
