The results show that a high-grade spodumene concentrate with low level contaminants can be produced by simple crushing to 6.3mm and using gravity Dense Media Separation.
This implies that the project will have a low capital intensity, since no flotation treatment was needed.
A 9.96kg sample of spodumene concentrate was also produced for lithium hydroxide conversion test-work, and this is now underway.

"We have successfully demonstrated that we can produce a high-quality concentrate using simple crushing, screening and DMS cyclone beneficiation at bench-scale, without the need for additional flotation.”
