Globex Mining Enterprises Inc (TSE:GMX) (OTCMKTS:GLBXF) partner Chibougamau Independent Mines Inc (CVE:CBG) reported Thursday that two additional sets of assays have been received from drill hole BJ-19-22 at the Bateman Bay, C-3 copper/gold property in Quebec, Canada.

In Thursday’s additional statement, Chibougamau said that a sample 4 m above and adjoining a reported intersection - which showed 3.01% copper, 0.48 g/t silver, 20.20 g/t gold and 0.025% cobalt over 45.40 m (true width 15.6 m) - assayed 1.44% copper, 0.36 g/t silver, 5.55 g/t gold and 0.078% cobalt over an additional true width of 1.34 m.

It also said an additional copper/gold zone, 11.6 m below Wednesday’s reported intersection in hole BJ-19-22, returned 1.66% copper, 2.01 g/t silver, 5.7 g/t gold and 0.02% cobalt over 11 m for a true width of 3.70 m.

The company said no additional assays are pending from the main zone of BJ-19-22 and drilling of hole BJ-19-26 is continuing, as indicated previously.

The C-3 copper and gold property is part of Chibougamau's wholly owned Bateman Bay property, and the results along with drilling to date show the zone is open in various directions.

Globex, an exploration, royalty and property bank, holds a 3% gross metal royalty (GMR) on the Bateman Bay and Grandroy Mine properties.
