James Mawhinney, managing director of Mayfair 101, says Mayfair Platinum's come about following on from the strong demand they've had from investors over the last few years.

''We set up the IPO Wealth fund and have had a flawless run in terms of making sure everyone's interest  is paid on time or redemptions have been fulfilled ... so we're building off the back of the success of that and previous things the group's involved with so that investors can invest directly with us as a group''.
