DiamondCorp (LON:DCP) shares gained ground as it revealed the strike at its Lace mine in South Africa had ended.
Workers at the project who are members of the association of mineworkers and construction union (AMCU) went on strike at 6am on October 23 this year.
AMCU members have now voted to resume work at 6am on Monday, December 8 without the appointment of any additional full-time shop stewards, the firm reported.
The issue in dispute was management's refusal to employ two additional full-time salaried shop stewards.
AMCU is the majority union at the Lace mine and already has five appointed shop stewards in the workforce.
DiamondCorp said it would provide an update on the impact of the industrial action on the Lace mine development and operational schedule.
