Tungsten Corp (LON:TUNG), the trade finance group, has confirmed it is considering adding debt facilities to its financial structure.
The company, which owns one of the world’s largest invoicing networks, has a number of funding options open to it.
“Over the medium term” its banking arm may start taking deposits, while it is also working with Blackstone Tactical Opportunities.
“There is no assurance that Tungsten will secure any means of debt financing at present and shareholders will be kept informed as the company finalises the initial funding to accelerate the growth of the business,” the group told investors.
Tungsten connects the world's largest companies and government agencies to their thousands of suppliers around the globe.
It operates in 44 countries and last year processed transactions worth over US$180bn for blue-chip firms such as Aviva, Cargill, General Motors, GlaxoSmithKline, Henkel, IBM, Kellogg's and the US Federal Government.
