CentralNic Group readies two web sites for .london & .build launch

Registration of .london domains starts at 4pm on Tuesday and domain name seller CentralNic (LON:CNIC) is ready for the flood gates to open.

The company has announced a partnership with Dot London and has a dedicated web site - www.buydomains.london - set up specifically for the registration of Dot London .london domain names, to complement its existing site www.buydomains.co.uk.

"We want Dot London to become the internet address of choice for businesses and individuals with a connection to the capital. It is therefore important for us to be working with CentralNic as the company is based here in London and understands the benefits a Dot London domain name can bring," said Alex Kinchin-Smith, director of Dot London.

London construction firms are particularly well-served by CentralNic, as the company is also set to launch a new web site - www.domain.build - for parties wanting to buy .build domain names.

The top level domain .build is not just aimed at London construction firms, of course, and will appeal to building and construction firms across the globe.

The domain name is to be made available to this industry to purchase through TLD Registrar Solutions, a wholly-owned subsidiary of CentralNic.

"Every company and sole trader in the building & construction industry needs a website these days. So, for CentralNic, it was imperative that these companies wishing to go online should use a site on the CentralNic platform," said Ben Crawford, chief executive officer of CentralNic.
