Toledo Mining reports first quarter figures from Berong nickel mine

Toledo Mining (LON:TMC) said run-of-mine ore from Berong Nickel Corporation's (BNC) nickel mine for the three months to end March stood at 229,006 wet metric tonnes (WMT) at an average grade of 1.93% nickel.

Direct ore shipping operations resumed in early March this year when the shipping window reopened for the Berong port, resulting in three shipments during the first quarter of 2013.

As at the end of March, total coastal stockpiles of all ore amounted to ­240,226 wmt with an average grade of 1.52% nickel.

Toledo has a 56.2% economic interest in BNC, which operates the Berong mine.
