Richland Resources (LON:RLD) has signed up Louis Swart as the company’s new chief financial officer (CFO).
It follows the resignation of finance director Farai Manyemba, who is leaving on April 30 to pursue other interests.
Swart, who will not join the board, has already started work for the tanzanite producer.
He is a chartered accountant from South Africa, with over 14 years of accounting experience, nine of which have been spent in the mining sector.
He worked as financial manager of Richland’s wholly owned subsidiary TanzaniteOne for five years until 2008.
