Trading in Norseman shares will commence on the ASX at 12 noon on Thursday 25 June 2009 under the ASX code: "NGX". Issued capital is 171.9 million shares.
Norseman operates Australia’s longest continuously running gold mining operation, producing over 5.5 million ounces of gold over 65 years from the Norseman goldfield in Western Australia.
Recently, Sprott Asset Management snapped up an additional 2.35 million shares in Norseman, raising its holding to 14.25 million shares, or 9.4 percent of the issued share capital.
