Character Group wins Bin Weevils master toy licence

Character Group (LON:CCT) has won an exclusive multi-year licence to develop and market toys based on the Bin Weevils children’s networking site.

The range will include collectable figurines, plush and playsets, and the first products in the will be available at retail in the autumn.

Bin Weevils has shown rapid growth, in both number of users and number of licensing partners, over the last year. It won the 'best kids web-site' children's BAFTA award in November 2011.

Bin Weevils started out as short animated stories of ants going on strange adventures, developed into an online game that centred on the on the main characters, Tink and Clott, and has become a children's networking site.
