Botswana project a ‘major, major opportunity’ for Power Metal Resources, says Johnson

Paul Johnson, executive director of Power Metal Resources PLC, (LON:POW), says its Molopo Farms project in Botswana is a top priority.

“This is a major, major opportunity for us,” he told Proactive’s Andrew Scott.

“We have only been able to get involved because of the depressed market for mining exploration,” he added.

“In normal business conditions these type of opportunities just don’t become available, so we are pushing ahead as hard as possible.”

Power Metal has 18.26% of Kalahari Key, the company exploring at Molopo Farms and can take a 40% direct stake for US$500,000.

A geophysics programme is nearly complete and will be followed by site selection for an initial drilling campaign.

The speed of progress of the work so far has been impressive, Johnson adds.
