Base Resources highlights transition of Kenyan mining operations to the South Dune ore body

Base Resources (ASX:BSE) chief financial officer Kevin Balloch tells Proactive Investors that the transition of Kwale mining operations in Kenya to the South Dune ore body, is among the highlights of the company’s June 2019 quarterly activities report.

The African mineral sands producer continues to benefit from strengthening of rutile and ilmenite prices while zircon prices have stabilised.

FY19 production is reported as being in line with guidance.
