Investor Update: ANGLE reports positive data from Parsortix FDA clinical study

ANGLE PLC (LON:AGL) has received positive results from its Parsortix FDA clinical study for metastatic breast cancer. The 400-subject clinical study will support an application for Class II regulatory clearance for Parsortix in the US.

Savannah Resources (LON:SAV) has increased the resource at its Mina do Barroso deposit in Portugal by 15% to close to 290,000 tonnes of lithium oxide. A first Indicated and Inferred Resource for Aldeia had grades 25% higher overall than other deposits previously defined at Mina do Barroso.

ProAxsis has received encouraging early data from the BRIDGE study, a major clinical trial funded by the British Lung Foundation and the European Respiratory Society.  The results highlight ProAxsis’ ability to monitor bacterial infections in real time in patients suffering from lung diseases.

Bingo group Rank has made an all cash offer for online gaming rival Stride Gaming (LON:STR). The offer of 151p per share values Stride at £115mln and is a 29% premium to the close last night.

Uber’s first figures since listing earlier this month showed a loss of US$1bn (£790m) even though revenues rose by 20% to US$3.1bn.  The quarterly figures were in line with forecasts though Uber shares remain well below their listing price.

Property  group Capital & Counties has received more disappointment from its earls court development in London. After a review by its partner Transport For London, Capco has taken a 10.5% reduction in the value of its stake in EPCL, the joint venture developing the project.
