Bacanora Lithium, Collagen Solutions bring in heavyweight backers

Bacanora Lithium PLC (LON:BCN)  has received a cash injection worth £14.4mln from Ganfeng, the world’s largest lithium metal producer.  Ganfeng is paying 25p per share for a near 30% stake.

Collagen Solutions (LON:COS) is also getting a hefty cash injection of up to £6mln. Rosen's Diversified is injecting £4.18mln at 5p, a 23.5% premium to the last close, while there will also be a placing and open offer.

Scancell (LON:SCLP) says pre-clinical work on immuno-therapy candidate SCIB2 has seen some very encouraging results. The company is collaborating with Cancer Research UK on the drug, which is seen as a treatment option for a range of common solid tumours including lung cancer.

Ryanair is predicting flat profits for its 2020 financial year after pressure from lower fares contributed to a profit slide in its latest full year.

IT hardware supplier Softcat will beat expectations for this year with strong year-on-year growth across all income and profit measures.

Foxtons is seeing little respite in the London property market with sales volumes at a record low due to Brexit uncertainty. Lettings were better but first quarter revenue dropped 3% to £23.8mln.
