Kromek secures two new contracts for its medical division

Dr Arnab Basu, chief executive of Kromek Group PLC (LON:KMK), tells Proactive's Andrew Scott their medical division has won two contracts worth a combined US$1mln.

Basu says an equipment manufacturing customer's placed a US$700,000 order for their cadmium zinc telluride (CZT) detectors to be used in nuclear medicine.

Meanwhile in the bone mineral densitometry market they've received a repeat contract of $340,000 for CZT-based detectors.
