Published: 10:45 04 Sep 2017 BST

“[The price of] gold is going off to the moon, [it’s at] an 11-month high,” says market commentator Matt Brown in Monday’s London Finance show.

“People are not only trading gold, they’re looking at gold miners and gold ETFs, and that’s the insurance policy against global economic political woes.”

Brown casts his eye over the boardroom reshuffle at consumer goods giant Reckitt Benckiser Group PLC (LON:RB.), while he also discusses a bullish broker note on Obtala Resources Limited (LON:OBT).

There’s the usual look across to the currency markets as well as Jefferies’ ‘buy’ intitiaion on HSBC Holdings PLC (LON:HSBA).
