Goldplat CEO pleased with “very encouraging” survey results

Goldplat (LON:GDP) completed a JORC-compliant resource statement for the tailings storage facility at its gold recovery operations in South Africa.

Chief executive Gerard Kisbey-Green said it was not just the 81,959 ounces of gold resources that were exciting, as the study also estimated a total of, 216,094 ounces of silver and 193,276 pounds of uranium oxide.

“The silver I think was expected, and it was pretty much in line with what we estimated, but the uranium oxide is quite a nice benefit and has great upside potential,” he added.
