Berkeley Energia boss in China for Salamanca offtake talks

Paul Atherley, chief executive of Berkeley Energia (LON:BKY), says the company hopes to have finance for its Salamanca uranium project in Spain in place by the middle of this year.

Atherley was speaking to Proactive live from China, where discussions with potential offtake partners are taking place.

Yesterday the firm announced a 15% boost to the grade to one of its uranium deposits – Retortillo – which should enhance the overall economics of the low-cost Salamanca venture.
