Sunrise Resources chair excited by Bay State prospects ahead of drilling

Patrick Cheetham, the executive chairman of Sunrise Resources (LON:SRES), says the company’s Bay State silver project in Nevada has the potential to be a company maker.

His comments come as the firm is preparing three holes to test for mineralisation next week, beneath existing workings at the Chihuahua vein system.

One drill hole will specifically target an area which recently yielded bonanza silver grades in underground sampling.

“The drilling will provide a first look at the geology, grade, thickness and pave way for more a substantial drilling programme, which will hopefully lead to a resource definition and the basis for taking the project forward.”
