Fastjet CFO: results give us confidence to move forward

The chief financial officer of Fastjet (LON:FJET), Nick Caine, talks through the firm’s full-year results which he says give the African airline confidence to move forward.

Despite making a loss last year, Caine explains that the figures 2014 are underpinned by a succession of very strong indicators which show that the carrier’s business model is working.

“We’re operating our aircraft more frequently and filling seats, there’s strong demand and plenty of potential for growth.”

Caine also explains that the firm is on the path towards gaining an Air Operator Certificate and launching flights within and from Zimbabwe.
