Sunrise Resources has completed the compositing of its samples from its second drill programme and has submitted the composites for perlite and pozzolan testing as part of its mine planning phase.
The Company has received requests from potential customers to supply raw perlite for commercial scale expansion trials. Sunrise is planning a bulk sample to extract the required material.
Contactors for the baseline permitting studies have been selected and are due to commence field work in April.
The US Bureau of Land Management has appointed interdisciplinary project permitting team.
Sunrise has appointed Tom Adams of KMR Collaborative LLC, a Pozzolan specialist to its management team.
Sunrise Resources continues to advance its CS Pozzolan-Perlite Project as it now moves into mine planning, permitting and marketing. Moving to the next stage in the projects evolution led the Company to appoint Tom Adams, a geomaterials engineer. Mr Adams has a strong technical and marketing focus on construction aggregates, industrial minerals and cementitious materials including natural pozzolan. His appointment strengthens the Company as it advances the CS Project towards production.

Distribution agreement signed in India for the Genedrive® platform

genedrive plc announced that it has signed a distribution agreement with ARKRAY Healthcare pvt Ltd (ARKRAY) for its CE-marked Genedrive® HCV ID Kit and Genedrive® platform in India. The Genedrive® HCV ID Kit is portable molecular diagnostic kit for the diagnosis of Hepatitis C, a potentially life-threatening virus which primarily affects the liver.
ARKRAY is a subsidiary of ARKRAY Inc. Japan, a leading in vitro diagnostic device (IVD) company.
Under the agreement, genedrive will retain responsibility for product development, quality management and manufacturing. ARKRAY will be responsible for sales, marketing, customer support and distribution. The companies will work together to focus on securing the required regulatory approvals in India for the Genedrive® HCV ID Kit.
genedrive anticipates commercial activities to subsequently commence during the latter part of its 2018/19 financial year.

The Company has recently received CE-marking for the Genedrive® HCV ID kit and has signed exclusive distribution agreements for the HCV ID kit with Sysmex Europe to cover Europe and Africa and Sysmex Asia for Asia Pacific, excluding India. The distribution agreement with ARKRAY allows for the marketing of the kit in an important target market with a significant unmet clinical need for point of care Hepatitis C diagnostics.
