PGE discovered at Zebediela
NORTHLAND VIEW
URU Metals’ current drill programme has returned two significant intersections of platinum group elements (PGE) in hole Z019 at the Zebediela Project, located in South Africa.
The first intersection returned a combined average grade of 1.97g/t for platinum (Pt), palladium (Pd), rhodium (Rh) and gold (Au) over 9m from a depth of 133m. A second intersection returned a combined average grade of 1.6g/t Pt, Pd, Rh & Au over 1.8m from a depth of 169m.
Three drill holes have now been completed in this drill programme (Z017, Z018, Z019) and the nickel and copper assays remain outstanding for all three holes. Assay results and the results of the metallurgical test work from the first drill hole Z017, are expected to be received shortly.
Positive news for URU Metals with the discovery of PGE at the Zebediela Project adding to its exploration potential. Zebediela is located with close proximity to a number of PGE producing mines including Ivanhoe Mine’s Platreef Project and Anglo Americans Mogalakwena Mine.
